Cougars close out season with a tough NIT Final Four Loss

Madison Square Garden. The WSU Men’s basketball team was manhandled Wichita State in NIT final four ending their season with a tough lopsided lost. The Cougars came into the “Garden” with high expectations after winning 3 NIT games in a row. The Cougs were the “home “team as the number 2 seed with Wichita State a number 4.  It was clear early on that Wichita was the better team that night as the Cougs lost 75-44.
