WSU announced this afternoon that Klay Thompson will stick with his earlier decision to enter the NBA draft and skip his senior year at Washington State. Thompson was the PAC-10’s leading scorer the past year is expected to be a mid-1st round draft pick by most experts. While at WSU, Thompson became the school’s 3rd best scorer in its history & likely would have broken the all time scoring record had he returned to school. The past season, Klay led the Cougs to the NIT quarter finals while averaging 21 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.9 blocks, while shooting 39.8 from the 3 point line. Klay will definitely be missed by the cougar faithful & we wish him the best of luck.
