WSU Loses 27-17 in the 106th Apple Cup

ApplecupWashington State came into Husky stadium with game winning hopes only to lose 27-17 in the 106th Apple Cup. The Huskies, while favored, are always a game the Cougs get up for and this game was no exception. UW had other ideas in mind as Bishop Sankey ran for over 200 yards in a sluggish defensive game. WSU’s Halliday had one of his worst games of the season, throwing two interceptions, and 272 yard total for the day. WSU, while bowl eligible must now wait to see if they get the call.
