WSU Cougars Lose To Nevada 24-14, Fans Mutter

Washington State, 0-1, flew in to Reno with high hopes of Coach Leachputting on Air Raid an show for Nevada Wolf Pack. Instead it was the Wolf Pack who grounded the WSU Air Raid and stuffed the Coug’s meager running game. Nevada scored first and never trailed in its 24-14 win over WSU, 0-2, in Coach Mike Leach’s 3rd season. WSU fans were left muttering about what was suppose to be breakout year after the Bill Moos and Mike Leach early pre-season bowl game predictions. The Cougs head home to play Portland State for the first 2014 game in Martin Stadium.
