Halliday sets records in losing effort

In what appeared to be a go-for-broke game, Conner Halliday threw for 58-89 passes, 557 yards, and 4 interceptions as WSU lost to Oregon 62-38. While breaking the FBS Drew Brees record for attempts, Halliday also set the new PAC-12 total passing yards. Coug fans were not celebrating and neither was Halliday in a game that was close 27-21 (Oregon) only to be blown out in the second half.

The (4-4, 1-3) Cougs now head home to Pullman for an interesting Halloween game with Arizona State.
